Day 1 Saturday / Istanbul
Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative and transferred to
your hotel.
Day 2 Sunday / Istanbul
After breakfast, visit the old town Hippodrome area ; St. Sophia, Blue Mosque
and Topkapi Palace. A colorful visit to the Spice Market. Return
your hotel for overnight. (B)
Day 3 Monday / Canakkale
Drive to Gallipoli; visit the Anzac Cove, Nek, Conk Bair, Lone Pine, 57th Regiment
Memorial and the War Museum. Cross Dardanelles, a vital strait throughout history. Overnight in Canakkale. (B,D)
Day 4 Tuesday / Troy- Pergamum- Kusadasi
Visit the site of Homer's epic war. Drive via legendary Mt. Ida , Continue to Pergamum; visit the Acropolis, Zeus Altar see the steepest theater in the ancient world. Overnight in Kusadasi . (B,D)
Day 5 Wednesday / Ephesus- Sirince-Kusadasi
A short drive to Ephesus, capital of Asia Minor. See the site of Temple of Artemis ‘‘one of the seven wonders of the ancient world”. Chances to explore the rich history behind world famous hand-made carpets, leather and enjoy traditional delicacies at a nomad's tent. Wine tasting at a nearby old Greek village Sirince. Return Kusadasi for overnight. (B,D)
Day 6 Thursday / Hierapolis-Pamukkale-Marmaris
After Breakfast drive through the cotton farms in the Meander Plain, arrive Pamukkale and visit ancient Hierapolis Free time to enjoy the spectacular lime cascades. Continue Marmaris for overnight. (B,D)………………….
Day 7 Friday / Koyceğiz and Greek Kayakoy- Fethiye
Morning drive to Koycegiz and take a boat for the turtle beach, fun time at the detoxifying mud baths along the way. Explore the quaint Greek village Kayakoy en route and drive Fethiye for overnight. (B,D)
Day 8 Saturday / Fethiye
You will have the option to join our 12 island boat cruise or spend the day relaxing at the beach or shopping in the markets of Fethiye. Overnight Fethiye. (B)
Day 9 Sunday / Saklikent Gorge- Antalya
An unforgettable 2 mile walking experience at the Saklikent Gorge; the 2nd largest canyon in Europe. Fantastic chances of photography in the winds of the narrow canyon. Continue to Antalya and visit Duden waterfall. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Antalya. (B,D)y
Day 10 Monday / Antalya (Aspendos) – Konya - Cappadocia
Early departure for Konya. Visit the best preserved ancient theater Aspendos first. Upon arriving Konya, visit Mausoleum of Mevlana and the lodge of Whirling Dervishes. Drive via Sultanhani, a Seljuk caravanserai on the historic Silk Road and arrive Cappadocia. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. (B,D)
Day 11 Tuesday / Cappadocia
After breakfast full day excursion in Cappadocia including visits to the Kaymakli Underground City, Goreme Open Air Museum and natural fortress in Uchisar. Picture stops at vantage points. An optional fun Turkish folklore evening and dinner is available tonight. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia. (B)
Day 12 Wednesday / Cappadocia Ankara
An optional Balloon tour is available early in the morning today. Drive to Ankara, capital of modern Turkey, visit Ataturk's Mausoleum, father of Turks. Overnight in the capital city of Turkey Ankara .(B,D)
